Spring

Wow! The Spring has flown by! I turned 18 and had lots of celebrations at different times and with different people, like this sweet friend...

Free ice cream because it was our birthday.
Red Robin is the best! Really great food too!
I got the Chili Chili Burger... Yum!

Then I got my license! Yay!
I went to two camps for a week each and had a blast at both! The first one, Aletheia Springs, is not really a camp. It is a Christian education center with the main theme this year being Loving God. I learned a lot and met some really cool people. They were such a welcoming group!

The picture below is of two of the teachers and all of the "sessionites" that were Sessionites of the Day." Josiah is one of the best pianist I have ever met. And he also plays like 7 other instruments. Crazy awesome!

The second one is Cherokee Cove!!! I love that place. My sister and I were camp counselors for the week for the Uphill Youth. So much work, laughter, and recreation filled our stay there.

On Friday we took a 17 mile bike ride on the Virginia Creeper Trail.

At one point the guys stopped at this beautiful area on the river to swim. I stayed with them and got to take pictures. None of these are the really good ones, which I took on different cameras.

It was a great place to cool off.

And yesterday I got to ride on a motorcycle for the first time ever!!! It was soooo fun!!

Bangs and Memorial Weekend

Last week I cut myself bangs.... I can wear them like this...

I like them. : )
Then I decided to curl all of my hair. It took a REALLY long time but it al so looked really pretty.

Right after this I took a long bike ride and then a shower, so I couldn't wear it to the picnic we went to later, but oh well.

On Saturday we visited Jesse and had a blast. Right outside one of his windows was a robins nest! The eggs are sooo beautiful!

Most of us got on the roof to enjoy the mountainous view. Sadly I didn't get a picture of them.

We went to Liberty's year around sky mountain. I don't think I would like skying on that stuff.

Then we went back to Jessie's house and made dinner.

Which was delicious!

Shot In the Ears?!

I just wanted to let my blogger friends know that I have been shot in both ears while at the mall. The bullets have not been removed. The mall is not my friend!!!

OK, so it wasn't your normal gun. It was actually an ear piercing gun, but still! And the bullets really are still in my ears and it really did hurt and I don't know if I want to get any more piercings! haha. At least I had friends and family with me. The lady that worked there was really sweet and helpful!

Hannah got them done, too.

Yay for earrings!

I wasn't all that nervous and did watch the piercing, but it hurt worse then I though it would and afterward I felt queasy.

I still have to get used to the fact that I have holes in my ears....

She went by Hannah, though that wasn't her real name. Such a sweet girl!

I'm happy about them!

Memories...

The other day we were looking through old pictures and came across ones of having fun with friends on our new trampoline. So many great memories came back. We would always have such a good time!

An so we decided to go out side and jump. Surprise, surprise! We can still have fun!

So many kids these days just don't know haw to have fun. With all of the technology out these days, if that is what they are handed then that is what they will do, leaving the outdoors with all it's forts, games, and activities behind.

Well, Hello There!

Last Saturday one of my friends got married. It was a very sweat yet emotional time. The first of my good friends to get married. It was a very beautiful wedding! I got to serve punch!
