19 and Stuff

On Sunday I turned um 19. Yeah, that's too old for me. I spent the evening and night with a really special girl. We had a blast!

 We had a family celebration today and I made an Oreo cake, with help from my sisters and Mom. 

 My Dad walked in the door with flowers. "Happy Birthday!" he said. It was one of the best gifts I got!

 The necklace in the picture below came from Haiti. Mom got it for me. It also it one of my favorite gifts!

 

Elisabeth loves these little things called Goetze's Caramel Creams. I tried them and found I don't like them. At all. So when I saw her card, I laughed out loud! On one side it says:

Wisdom is the principle thing; therefore get wisdom: and with all thy getting get Goetze's

Elisabeth also made a recording of a long pause.... and then a "Happy Birthday!" and made it go off in another room while I was opening gifts. It was so funny to see her one room and yet her voice was in another room!

 This cake was soooo good!

A while back a friend and I got artsy together and made some pretty neat things. I thought I'd share. I made the frame and she made the bottle.

 I think the bottle is really cool.

 Hannah found a wounded bird. We tried to help it, but it hopped out of its cage while we were gone yesterday and we haven't seen it since. oh well. It's probably dead now....
